To get an approved application for naturalization, you will have to pass an
interview. It will consist of three parts. The first part will include clarifying questions about the documents you have submitted, and your past. The second part of it is a test for English knowledge. Here they test your ability to speak fluent English, understand the speech, read and write at a certain level. At the same time, if the interviewer notices that you communicate with him in English freely, he may shorten this test. The third part of the interview is a test of knowledge of the basics of US culture. You will be asked questions about the history, political structure of the country, its geography (for example, you might be asked to name the first US President, the number of states, etc.). To pass this part of the interview successfully, it will be enough to answer 6 of 10 questions.
